waterfalls are inside the forested Mhadei wildlife sanctuary of Sattari in
North Goa. Goa‘s Western Ghats are the repository of the biological
wealth. The rich biodiversity of the area provides exciting and enthralling
experience to all the adventurer and nature lovers. The Moshacho Ozar is in
Hivre of Thane Dongurli village Panchayat. During monsoon, one can get

The two waterfalls in Pali, provides breathtaking view of the lush green forest along with the gushing flow of the river. Shelop - Budruk is blessed by four waterfalls which exhibit the identity through their flow. However the last one offers marvelous sight of the waterfall.
Though waterfalls from Saleli are small, they provide most soothing experience of the lush green facet of Goa.
Lastly the best waterfalls to be visited is 'HALDICHO VAZAR'. It simply means turmeric waterfall. This area was densely forested with turmeric plants and so the name, they provide most soothing experience of the lush green facet of Goa

Fees :- Rs.4000/- per participant for Members
only. The fees will cover accommodation, tasty Veg and Non Veg Goan food,
expert guidance, and equipment. Participants will bear to and fro travel
expenses from their home to the Transit Camp, Panaji. Payment of fees by Demand
Draft / At par payable Cheques only, in favour of "YOUTH HOSTELS
ASSOCIATION OF INDIA – PANAJI UNIT" payable at Panaji, Goa.
Dates :- There will be only three batches.
Reporting will be between 10 am to 2 pm at Transit Base Camp at Old Secretariat Building, Panaji, Goa. The reporting dates
shall be 6 July, 11 july and 16 July 2019. Duration of trek will be 5 nights
and 6 days. Check out will be on 6th day after breakfast.
How to participate :- The strength of group shall be 50.
Members desirous of joining the programme may book online on www.yhaindia.org website
or for an offline booking apply on a prescribed Registration Form. Photocopies
of the forms are acceptable. The minimum age for participation is 10. Please
specify your email id as admit cards for offline booking will be send by email.
Form should be sent along with draft/Cheque of participation fee directly to

How to reach the
Base Camp :
The base camp is
located at THANE –DONGURLI PANCHAYAT
BUILDING, SATERI WADA, DONGURLI, GOA 403505. The nearest railway
stations are Thivim , Karmali and Margao. State bus service is available.
Direct bus service to Panaji is also available from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore,
Mangalore. Direct trains are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and major
cities of India. You can locate this place by typing Thane School ground,

Special Bus has been arranged to
reach Base Camp from Panaji Transit camp situated at Old Secretariat Building,
Panaji, Goa at 15.00 hrs. Should you miss this bus , you can reach the base
camp by taking bus to Valpoi from Panaji and then onwards to Thane Dongurli
Stadium. Bus will also be arranged to drop the participants back to Panaji on 6th Day at 9 am.
Cancellation :- In
case you are unable to join the trek after paying the participation fee, you
will get a refund of 50%- provided your written request is received directly in
the office of Goa State Branch ON OR BEFORE 20th JUNE, 2019. Cancellation requests by Sms / phone calls will not be accepted. No refund will however, be
admissible if the request reaches after 20th June, 2019. Kindly note that in
case of cancellation please give bank details (preferably SBI) for refund by
NEFT/RTGS on goastateyhai@gmail.com.
What you should
bring :- Sleeping bag
(if you have one), Bedsheet, Trekking shoes and Bathroom slippers,
torch, water bottle, lunch box, Coffee mug, plate, spoon,
soap, toilet paper, towel, medicines (which you normally use at home) and most
IMPORTANTLY a small shoulder bag / Rucksack only for carrying lunch box and
water bottle ( Participants will not carry anything other than lunch box and
water bottle during treks).
USE OF ALCOHOL AND
NARCOTICS OF ANY DESCRIPTION ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED DURING THE COURSE OF THE
PROGRAMME.
Safety: - Extensive and painstaking preparation has
gone into the planning of trek routes for your safety. Our field staff and
experienced camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all details. The
Youth Hostels Association of India, cannot be held responsible for any
accidents, illness and any such unforeseen eventualities. Deviation from the
set route of the program is not permitted. If the participant desires to join
any other activity, they may do so at their own responsibility and risk only
after finishing the trek and checking out. You are advised to take insurance
cover for your journey and other related matters.
Certificate:- Participants who successfully complete the
trek and abide by the discipline of the program will be awarded certificates.
Attention :- This is an environment friendly
trek. Do not litter any wrapper or spoil the trail in any way.
